Themes of love, loss, and camaraderie characterized the songs of the recording sessions. Shortly after the Mirage tour ended in late 1982, Stevie began recording The Wild Heart.
During this time, Stevie was already in the process of gathering material for her second solo album, The Wild Heart.

The Wild Heart is Stevie Nicks’ second solo album.
